INTRODUCTION:

Our course is delivered over two days, delegates will be given an introduction to the railway environment, potential hazards, walking and working on or near the line and emergency procedures.

Completion of course

At the end of the course candidates will be able to demonstrate their ability to understand the principles of a safe system of work and follow the rules or local instructions when going on or near the line.


Pre-Requisites

• Candidates must be 18 years old or over

• Delegates must be sponsored provide a Sponsor’s Achilles ID number at the time of booking.

• PTS Medical (NR/L2/OHS/00124) and Drugs & Alcohol Screening (NR/L1/OHS/051). The D&A screening should be no older than 3 months prior to the course date if you are not already sponsored on the Sentinel database.

• The primary sponsor must ensure that a Sentinel profile has been created on the Network Rail Sentinel website and your medical and D&A information is correct

• PPE Equipment (the course includes a site visit)

• Must have completed the PTS E Learning module via Network system

• Maximum 12 delegates
